Privacy Policy

I have one thing in mind: protecting your privacy and safeguarding the information you provide. My privacy and confidentiality standards are what is required by law or regulations, so you can feel safe and comfortable.


  • Everything you tell me, as your Therapist/Provider or your counselor/ life coach is protected by strict federal and state laws

  • I comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), which is the national standard and regulation for the security and privacy of health-related information. Anyone who has worked with me for any amount of time can attest to how dearly I not only guard your HIPPA rights, but go out of my way to make sure that YOU understand them if I think I see someone else violating them, and I am not sure that you fully understand them. 

  • In Illinois: Minors between the age of 12-17 ages of have personal privacy rights, and I can not and will not violate their privacy rights unless they sign a HIPPA waiver and give me SPECIFIC guidelines, criteria, and content areas that they are comfortable with my speaking with a parent or guardian about. n

  • They also have the right to 'revoke' any HIPPA authorizations that they have signed off on and shared with a parent or guardian at any time, and I will have no part in 'pressuring' or playing a role in unduly influencing an adolescent to sign away their privacy rights in order to share their PHI (private healthcare information with a parent or guardian. I will not respond to probing calls and emails if the adolescent has my contact information and an open line of communication with me, as 'they' are my patient. the only exception to the rule would be a "Duty to Warn/Mandated Reporter," or "Tarasoff" situation:

Terms of Use
  • The Terms and Conditions

    • The followings are the Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") for the access and use of any person ("User", "Client(s)" or "you") in an online platform (Video Telemental Health or Consultations for projects, training or coaching) through which counseling/therapy, consulting, professional advice, and any other information are provided (collectively through the video "Platform"). The Platform will be agreed upon prior to a first session or meeting, and be accessible or be available via multiple websites, devices, platforms, and other means, (typically telephones, laptops, computers, and tablets) which are owned and/or operated by the patient and/or client and third parties.

    • Without derogating from the above, the Platform may be used among other things to facilitate (a) personal advice and information delivered specifically to you; and (b) general information and content which is publicly available and not transmitted to you personally, but is a historic record on the site.

    • By accessing or using the Video Telemental Health of Consulting Platform, or by clicking a button or a box indicating that you have read and agree to the terms of use, you are entering into this Agreement. You should read this Agreement carefully before starting to use the Platform, and before entering into a therapeutic, consulting, or coaching relationship. If you do not agree to be bound to any term of this Agreement, you must refrain from signing up for services and packages described on the Platform, you must stop making any use of the Platform and you should not access the Platform as a therapeutic, counseling, consulting, or coaching relationship has been determined to not be established.

    • ****Important****Illinois is a two-party consent state, by agreeing to take part in any Telemental health sessions, you are acknowledging that you will not record any sessions without your Therapists/Provider's consent, as each occurrence of this is a felony, and is required to be reported to authorities, an allowable end to the therapeutic relationship and cessation of HIPPA barriers. Do not record without consent in Illinois.  


    • Not in Illinois? Learn the laws in your state, Illinois is one of the most strict, and wrote laws 'specifically addressing this.'

  • The Counselor and Counselor Services

    • The Platform enables you to take part in Video Telemental Health sessions and communicate with a counselor and/or life coach for the purpose of getting counseling, information, advice, or any other input, benefit, or service (collectively "Counselor Services"). The video services can also be used in a consulting capacity, training, and Independent expert Testimony via distance technology (as I have done for the last 5-6 years in states all over the country). 

  • Use of the Platform

    • You are agreeing to receive either Video telemental health sessions, consulting, or life coaching services through the platform that we will agree upon prior to our first meeting, or a third-party technology device. 


    • You agree, confirm and acknowledge that you are aware of the fact that the Counselor Services are not a complete substitute for a face-to-face examination and/or session by a licensed qualified professional body language is 97% of communication, and as a provider, I can not conduct a proper assessment, gauge your ACTUAL functioning and well being, or if your answers match your status, if I am unable to see you. You acknowledge the "Video" component is an essential portion of the work, and sessions will not be conducted solely by "telephone'. You should never rely on or make health or well-being decisions which are primarily based on information provided as part of the Counselor Services,' and are only basing their findings based on what is being reported. If someone has not 'seen' you., they should only be serving in the role of reviewing objective medical records and conducting reviews. Furthermore, it is strongly recommended that you will consider seeking advice by having an in-person appointment with a licensed and qualified professional if you are in crisis, have an 'acute issue,' or are struggling with an issue that is beyond the scope of the individual that has been managing it (We could speak more to who is an appropriate and misappropriate source if you have concerns with current providers).


    • Never disregard, avoid, or delay obtaining medical advice from your doctor (PCP or internist) or other qualified healthcare provider, by face-to-face appointment, because of information or advice you received through a Platform where you have never seen someone face to face

    • .


    • The Platform may contain other content, links, products, or services which are offered or provided by third parties ("Third Party Content"), links to Third Party Content (including but not limited to links to other websites), or advertisements which are related to Third Party Content. You confirm and acknowledge that we have no responsibility over any such Third Party Content, including (but not limited to) any related products, practices, terms, or policies, and that we can not be liable for any damage or loss caused by any Third Party Content.


  • Your account, representations, conduct, and commitments

    • You hereby confirm that you are at least 18 years old of age, if you are reaching out on your own from the start. If you are 12-17 years old, I have addressed my promise and support to respect and support your HIPPA rights, as required by law, once we get our work set up and your needs and logistics are squared away. 

    • You hereby confirm that you are legally able to enter into a contract. Meaning 18 years of age, or 12-17, after proper clarification and objective assessment have been conducted to affirm this is the case. 

    • You hereby confirm and agree that all the information that you provided in or through the Video Telemental Health Platform, and the information that you will provide in or through the Platform or any email communications with the Dr. in the future, is accurate, true, current, and complete. Furthermore, you agree that during the term of this Agreement, you will make sure to maintain and update this information so it will continue to be accurate, current, and complete.

    • You agree and confirm that your use of the Telemental Health Platform, specifically the Therapeutic and assessment Services, is for your own personal use ONLY and that you are not using either the Platform or the Therapists Services for or on behalf of any other person or organization. This can be in the form of unauthorized one-party recordings, copying, printing, disseminating, and sharing materials that are the intellectual and original property of the Dr. Also, VERY importantly, you will not bring additional, unplanned individuals to sessions, as this is a conflict of interests, and a violation of legal, ethical, and professional agreements that the Therapist and yourself entered into at the start of the relationship, and can create 'dual relationships,' a perception of 'taking sides,' 'triangulation,' or favoritism. You should have your own Dr., and they should have theirs. This is a hard boundary for me and an ethical issue that I stick to ardently. 

    • You agree and commit not to make any use of the Platform for the posting, sending, or delivering of either of the following: (a) unsolicited email and/or advertisement or promotion of goods and services; (b) malicious software or code; (c) unlawful, harassing, privacy invading, abusive, threatening, vulgar, obscene, racist or potentially harmful content; (d) any content that infringes a third party right or intellectual property; (e) any content that may cause damage to a third party; (f) any content which may constitute, cause or encourage a criminal action or violate any applicable law.

    • You agree and commit not to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, statute, ordinance, rule, regulation, or ethical code in relation to your use of the Platform and your relationship with the Counselor.

    • If you receive any file from us or from a Counselor, whether through the Platform or not, you agree to check and scan this file for any viruses or malicious software prior to opening or using this file.

    • You will indemnify us, defend us, and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, causes of action, demands, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including, but not limited to, litigation and reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses) arising out of or relating to any of the following: (a) your access to or use of the Platform; (b) any actions made with your account or Account Access whether by you or by someone else; (c) your violation of any of the provisions of this Agreement; (d) non-payment for any of the services (including Counselor Services) which were provided through the Platform; (e) your violation of any third party right, including,  without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right. This clause shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement.
  • Fees and Payment

    • You confirm and agree that all payment-related information that you provided and will provide in the future, to or through the Platform, are accurate, current and correct and will continue to be accurate, current, and correct. Payment is due at the time of service, this is non-negotiable. 

    • You confirm and agree to use only payment means (credit cards or others) that you are dully and fully authorized to use.

    • You agree that all current and future interactions (whether online or offline) between you and a Counselor will be made, managed, and billed through the Platform/method, you and the provider agreed upon.

    • As noted above, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your Account on a timely basis and according to the fee schedule you have chosen (which is why I have made so many options), the terms, and the rates as published on the Platform. Such fees and charges (including any taxes and late fees, as applicable) may be charged to your credit card. By providing us with your credit card information you authorize us to bill and charge you through that credit card. You agree to maintain valid credit card information in your Account information. We also accept Zelle, Quickpay, Cashapp, and of Course Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and United Behavioral Health.
